Bridge VMS Product Updates - February 10, 2025

The Super Bowl may be over, the confetti has settled, and the MVP has been crowned – but here at BridgeVMS, we’re still making plays!  This release might not come with a halftime show, but it’s packed with smart improvements to keep your workflow running smoothly.  No trick plays, just solid execution.

What’s new with BridgeVMS?

Automated Break Deduction Improvements:  We’ve given our auto break deduction feature a new playbook, making it more flexible than ever. Now, users can define break deductions based on any shift duration and even add multiple configurations within a single category. You’ll find this feature in the same location as before - no need for a Hail Mary to track it down.  Want a closer look?  Check out the screenshot of the new break deduction module below, which lays out your break configurations as neatly as a coach’s whiteboard before a fourth-and-goal play.

Estimated Placement Cost:  Hiring managers, this one’s for you!  Before you confirm a candidate, you’ll now see an estimated total placement cost, giving you a better idea of the financial game plan.  The same goes for placement extensions, helping you make approval decisions with confidence - because no one likes surprise overtime expenses.

Bug Fixes and Optimisations:  Even championship teams need to fine-tune their playbook.  We’ve tackled a few bugs and made optimisations to keep BridgeVMS moving the chains.  Here are a few notable fixes:

• 📊 Timesheet sorting by client now works as expected - no more fumbling through grids.
• 📍 Job/order searches by location are now more accurate, helping you find exactly what you need.
• 📌 Distance calculations (by zip code/postcode) are now playing by the right rules – accurately determining distances so candidates with location-based search criteria correctly appear for jobs/orders that match their range.  No more out-of-bounds results!
